Arroyo is a New York–based, award–winning artist whose background in the field of dance is reflected in the fluidity of movement that characterizes the figures, mostly woman, in her work. She explores the archetypal roles of women based on historical, mythological and contemporary references. Her works have been widely exhibited in galleries and museums and are featured in many public, corporate and private collections. Her artwork has been featured extensively in the media, including CNN, NY1, The New York Times and on covers of The New Yorker.
