Maxine Solomon is an award winning oil painter who has extensive curatorial experience, and continues to conduct painting workshops in the United States and abroad. Over the last 15 years, Solomon has exhibited widely in the Bay Area as well as in countries including Zambia, Ghana, and Armenia. The artist’s active brushstrokes, combined with quiet glazes, captures a moment in time as reality blurs into abstraction and clarity gives way to obscurity.
