According to the artist, "The jump from papier-mache to bronze wasn't as far as it first seemed. The sculpting process is where the two diverge. Bronze is a given in our visual vocabulary where as papier-mache, challenging medium as it is, carries a stigma of pre-school. Kurtzman's works have been shown worldwide. The artist and his work continues to be the subject of more than 200 news, reviews and feature articles by leading publications.
